- How do I set up my account and make payments?
To create your account, simply click the "Register Now" button above and follow the prompts. You will need either a Credit Card or your Bank Account Details to complete the registration process. Your Mobile Cap Saver monthly fee will be drawn from your credit card or nominated bank account every month, 7 days before your account renewal anniversary.

- What costs are involved in setting up my account?
Once your registration is approved, TPG will debit your first month Cap Saver Plan fee, $20 Sim card fee and $20 'Outside Cap Credit' from your preferred payment method. For Example:
Cap Saver Fee - $49.99
Sim Card Fee - #$20.00
Outside Cap Credit - *$20.00
Total - $89.99
# $20 Sim fee applies to all new connections & number ports.
* $20 Outside Cap Credit: At the time of registration, we debit $20 that is kept as a credit on your account for any usage outside the Cap Value. This $20 is called the 'Outside Cap Credit'. The 'Outside Cap Credit' is for any calls, text or data that go either above your Cap Value or are not included in your Cap Value, e.g. premium services or roaming services. If your 'Outside Cap Credit' falls below $5 at any time, you will be debited by an amount sufficient to bring it back up to $20. Your service will become inactive if our attempts to debit your credit card/bank account to top up your 'Outside Cap Credit' to $20 are unsuccessful. If you don't go above your Cap Value and don't incur any charges that aren't covered by your Cap Value, your $20 'Outside Cap Credit' won't ever be debited. Any unused 'Outside Cap Credit' is refundable when you terminate the service.
- How long does it take to create my account and port my number to TPG?
Generally your account will be created within 24 hours. Once the registration process is complete, you will receive an e-mail from TPG stating the progress of your registration. You should receive your new TPG/Soul SIM card within 3-4 days. Once you have your new SIM, log into your account at tpg.com.au to activate. Your number should be ported within 24 hours of activation.
- Can I keep my existing prepaid or postpaid phone number?

Unlike most Prepaid Cap Plans, you'll never find yourself unable to make a call or send a text. Should you excede your Cap Saver value before the end of your billing period, any calls or text are simply charged to your 'Outside Cap Credit' as explained earlier.
Should your 'Outside Cap Credit' balance drop below $5, TPG will debit your credit card/bank with the amount required to return your Outside Cap Credit to $20. If you find that you are consistantly exceding your Cap Saver Plan value, you should consider upgrading your plan to meet your call requirements as this may be more cost effective in the long term.
- My phone is locked to another network. Can you unlock it for me?
- What sort of coverage can I expect on the TPG network?
TPG's Mobile service is delivered to you via the Optus Network. Our GSM network covers more than 690,000 square kilometres of landmass, reaching more than 96% of the Australian population. Our 3G coverage is 83% of the population and growing.
- We support 3G speeds in 3G areas provided customers have 3G handsets.
- We do not support 3G Features such as Video Calling, Presence, Instant Messaging.
